navrins seems not to like much of anything, foodwise, so probably has little to recommend. ;-) Don't know if you resemble him in that regard!
But there are actually lots of places to eat in Davis Sq., mostly in the Elm St./Holland St. stretch. I do recommend Johnny D's which has early dinner (their shows don't start until later on in the evening). If you like Indian, Diva and Namaskar are both good. Redbones is very good if you like BBQ. mrmorse and I have eaten at the Burren and the Joshua Tree as well as the Rosebud Diner, all of which are serviceable.
There are in fact a couple of Chinese places around (though I can't personally vouch for any of them). I think they might be mostly of the glorified-take-out variety, rather than really sit-down, but hey, it's dinner. There's at least one of those right on College Ave, down the block from the theater church.
Alaria does not resemble me in that (though I eat more than I used to, scarily enough). But I got it from our father.
Yes, there's a chinese restaurant - China Sun? - in the square, between College Ave and Holland Street. (Or at least, there was some years ago; I've no reason to think it's gone now.)

Not at all. Probably used to when I was young, but I always ate Pizza at least, unlike him! Truly, I am much more adventurous food-wise then he is.
Is there a Chinese Restaurant close by within walking distance? That's Dad's favorite.

China Sun is, I believe in the trangle formed by College, Holland, and Winter. (And the church is on the corner of College and Chapel.)

Ahh, right, so it's still a relevant factor for tonight.
(Jokes about Geoffrey respectfully deleted. ;-)
