(quickly, before I run down to grab lunch and say hi to [livejournal.com profile] n2mlq and [livejournal.com profile] aileenmuira)

... Do I not have a "music" icon? Shocking. "dancing" will have to do.

These are not at all in chronological order, just as I'm able to think of them. Starred entries are artists I've seen multiple times. I'll probably keep adding as others occur to me. And I have no intention of tracking which ones other people have also seen, but feel free to comment.

Did the Irish Rovers do "Fuck The British Army" when you saw them? Such a great song...

What about BareNaked Ladies, and Duncan Sheik, from that year we went to MixFest in the rain with Pup?

Oh yeah! -- But I wouldn't have remembered Duncan Sheik, so I don't think I can count him.

Now I'm hearing Bernadette Peters:
"MixFest in the Rain with Pup!"
"-- Look out at the water. Not at me."

Dar Williams (I think, once, at Wellesley? cos?)

I definitely saw her at Wellesley, but I always remembered going to that with Katy. Was that with you? (or both?)

If you remember about 30 people, sitting on chairs in a circle, at some lounge in Tower Court, Dar on one of the chairs playing for us, then you were there.

Although, maybe you saw her there a few years later, when she played at the big theater there that I forget the name of.

No, what I remember was more the chairs-in-a-lounge experience, only I thought I remembered her at least being up front in a stagelike configuration. But I also remember that it was quite dark (both in the performance space and out around Wellesley). And I do think I was along with you and Katy.

Ahh, okay, then you probably did come with us to that show at Tower. I'm pretty sure she was just sitting in a chair in the circle with us for that show. It's also the last time I saw her do a small show like that - the next time I saw her was opening for John Gorka at an outdoor thing in Lowell, where more people turned out for her than for John, which at the time was a surprise.
