FRI 1/2: Shabbat dinner at our house

SAT 1/3:
1pm lunch/brunch at Tu y Yo with nacht_musik
4pm brief appearance at scriptreading chez shumashi
7pm -- Then, while mbarr was still in town, we rounded up the gang for dinner at the new Jerusalem Pita in Coolidge Corner, then watched Casablanca (and Carrotblanca, and West Bank Story) chez ablock

SUN 1/4:
11am Menschen gig at Temple Emmanuel in Chelsea
2pm showing of WALL-E (which J had not yet seen) at the Arlington Capitol

6pm dinner at Rangzen with Jess R (no, not jessruth, the other one)
8pm help J do some office moving; then zoom to zigguratlabs planning meeting

WED 1/7: laundry! and, uh, thank-you notes and stuff.

THU 1/8:
7:30pm work meeting POSTPWNED!
meeting ablock for dinner and shopping in Harvard Sq.

FRI 1/9: 6:30pm shul; no firm plans as yet for after, possibly swing

SAT 1/10:
2pm haircut?
7pm birthday party

11:30am-3:30pm brunch open house
7pm 6pm Menschen rehearsal

FRI 1/16: Arisia begins in earnest

SAT 1/17: 9pm-??? zigguratlabs Rescheduled Halloween Party

12n President Obama takes office (keynahora)
7pm theatreatfirst auditions for Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale. "Parts for many men and women, and one child aged 7-12. Auditions will be held by appointment on the evenings of Tuesday, January 20 and Wednesday, January 21 at Unity Church in Somerville (6 William St.). Performances April 23 - May 2."

WED 1/21:
7pm tremontstshul movie night (chez gedalia, we think)
7:30pm The Year of Magical Thinking at the Lyric Stage, Boston, with justom & co.

FRI 1/23: 7pm Menschen gig, Temple Emanuel in Andover

SAT 1/24:
8pm Theatre To Go's Harvey (starring the illustrious navrins as Jimmy Stewart Elwood). Greenwood Union Church, 4 Oak Street, Wakefield, MA. Runs Jan. 16-25 (matinee close), but this is the only performance I can make. Anyone?

SUN 1/25: all-day field trip with SCO#1 to Temple Israel Center in White Plains for a one-day concert production of The Mikado. 5pm performance, for those in the area. (Now if Robbie would only figure out what they might need me to sing so I could learn it!)

MON 1/26: 7:30-9pm possible drop in on the Advanced Beginner modern dance class at Green Street Studios (I took this class with my friend Joy for a while several years ago)

FRI 1/30:
6:30pm 6pm shul
7-10pm tremontstshul Community Shabbat Dinner
8pm Intimate Apparel (featuring the inimitable justom as turn-of-the-century Nice Jewish Boy ;-) opens at the Footlight Club in JP. Runs 3 weekends, through 2/14; not sure yet if this is the performance I'm going to (depends on timing around a bazillion conflicts... although the first weekend does have discounted tickets, hmm). Eliot Hall, 7A Eliot Street in Jamaica Plain -- right around the corner from the late Pondscumme Manor.

SAT 1/31:
8pm 3rd annual a cappella festival at KI in Brookline (whether or not the Menschen are performing in it!).
Also, la_vie_en_rosie's birthday party and at least one other party so far.

Note that the tremontstshul Tu B'Shvat Singles Mixer is being rescheduled accordingly to Saturday night, Feb. 7. Details to come!

Cant help but notice a hole in your schedule on 1/24. Any chance you would want to come down to NYC a day early, hang for a few hours, sleep over then drive up to White Plains on Sunday? Just a thought....

And, you know, that concept had occurred to me (though part of the fun of the White Plains trip will be the drive down and back). However, I just figured out that 1/24 is actually the only time I can see navrins's show. :-}

Oh well, it was worth a shot! Hey, now that I'm gainfully employed, we can plan a weekend! Maybe in the spring?
