Taunted by the weather gods, and then some
Wednesday, April 9th, 2003 12:36 pmI deliberately did not wear my hat or boots this morning because it Couldn't Possibly Still Be Snowing Today. Grr.
I must still file my taxes. I must still find someone to take me in for first seder. Both looming within the week.
Tonight, the second rehearsal-free night of the past few weeks, I must spend at a synagogue board meeting. Wherein I must beat down any popular support for forcibly nominating me as the next president. (I think I can actually make myself clear without too much struggle, but still, it's likely to be a drag of a meeting.)
However. Before that, I'll be having dinner at Mary Chung's with
pandaulf, getting in a pre-Passover chametz (and catching-up) fix. And after it I'll have a little downtime to spend with
mattrolls. And in just a few minutes I'll be having lunch with
navrins & co. And I have reasonably straightforward work projects to chew away on for the rest of this afternoon... enlivened by occasional text messages from C.
So life is not so bleak, even today. :-)
