Arisia 2025

When I found out that Arisia 2025 was going to be back at the Ziggurat (a.k.a. the Hyatt Regency Cambridge), I was super excited at first. Visions of getting the Ziggurat Labs band back together for a comeback party, that sort of thing.

But the reality is, no one has had time or energy to pull that together, including myself at a thousand miles' distance. And we were grappling for a while with the question of whether I should travel alone or try to bring the whole family. But now it turns out there's also no Fast Track kids programming... due to lack of staffing, which again points to a shortage of time and energy.

And now of course, the main hotel is sold out. (No word on whether that includes the party suites, though I hope so, for the convention's sake.)

So, like... should I try to come out? Anyone with a room reservation looking to split it?

Or would it make more sense to hold off and visit in the spring?

I haven't really been since it was last at the Ziggurat either. But with no Fast Track, it won't be happening either.

We are going despite the lack of Fast Track, since my younger kiddo is old enough to free roam. She came with me to some of the sillier panels last year, so I think we are just going to have to lean into that to make sure she has fun.
