It's kind of odd... Lately, I'm far more impressed when I find out that someone is within a few months of me in age, and yet back in the day, I was more impressed when I met someone significantly different from me in age... Then again, when I was younger* I was generally hanging around dozens of other people born within 6 to 12 months of me... That, I suppose, might do it.
