Dredging up (from memory) an old meme that [livejournal.com profile] invisible__girl and some others did some time ago:

For each of ten people on your friends list, list a song that reminds you of that person every time you hear it.

Having so many [livejournal.com profile] mitgspers on my list (with whom I strongly associate the songs I've heard them sing onstage) is probably cheating, so let's try to do this without resorting to G&S:

[livejournal.com profile] mrmorse: Dozens, but let's go with ELP, "From The Beginning".
[livejournal.com profile] ablock: Supertramp, "Bloody Well Right"
[livejournal.com profile] jessruth: Hundreds, probably! but I'll pick Sheryl Crow, "Keep On Growing" (from the soundtrack to Boys on the Side)
[livejournal.com profile] struct: Crowded House, "Don't Dream It's Over"
[livejournal.com profile] cos: Enya, "Orinoco Flow"
[livejournal.com profile] greenlily: Great Big Sea, "Old Brown's Daughter"
[livejournal.com profile] alaria_lyon: "I Know Things Now", Into the Woods
[livejournal.com profile] bethr: Dido, "White Flag"
[livejournal.com profile] tigerbright: Echo's Children, "Web of Love"
[livejournal.com profile] folzgold: The Ramones, "Rock & Roll High School"

And now, I am outta here.

That's so sweet! Thanks for including me on your list.

(Actually "White Flag" reminds me of you too.)

You're so sweet to remember that. Hope it wasn't horrible :-)

On a similar note, I wish I knew someone who played piano and lived conveniently to me so that I could sing more. I hate paying voice teachers, but I seriously need an accompaniest with an opinion :-)

Man, now I'm gonna have to dig up my "Boys on the Side" CD (purchased within hours of our going to see the movie, if I recall correctly), just so I can know which song this is. =)

*grin* You and [livejournal.com profile] ladymondegreen absolutely rocked for being willing to learn that song the day before [livejournal.com profile] ailsaek's wedding, for the processional.

Enya was obvious

You certainly got [livejournal.com profile] cos right on target.
She's still his favorite performer, isn't she?

Oh wow, yeah... that song reminds me of you often. Though I haven't heard it in a while.

I don't think she was ever my favorite, though I did listen to her very often when I had a tape of her among the first 10 or 15 or so tapes I made myself.
It's actually probably been more than a year since the last time I actually put on an Enya CD, though I do own a few and I like them a lot.
