Observations
Sunday, September 26th, 2004 11:12 amYom Kippur went well. An hour nap in the afternoon helped immensely.
I got the honor of peticha (opening the Ark) during Ne'ilah, the closing service. They gave it to me last year, too. It meant a lot to me.
Mary Chung's is a pretty good place to break the fast, especially with a good group of friends around. A second dinner of sushi four or five hours later doesn't hurt, either.
I have now finally put in an official appearance at one of
penghuin's parties. The collective hotness was... impressive.
awfief,
fes42, and
stranger78 rock the house. Or, specifically, the attic. Thanks, guys!
"Hungry Like The Wolf" really is a powerfully sexy song. (Especially in the company of
zed42. ;-)
I am capable of getting up and doing laundry at 8:30 am even when I didn't get to bed until 3.
I have decided to spend the afternoon at the office in order to bang out a bunch of these freelance projects hanging over my head. I also have to go grocery shopping, since I invited Tiger Boy over for dinner tonight.
But first, a late second-breakfast at Carberry's with
ablock and
xdaemon.

Date: Sunday, September 26th, 2004 07:23 pm (UTC)I suppose it's not entirely their fault; BareNaked Ladies were on before them and put on an AMAZING show (as you would expect). Unfortunately, as soon as BareNaked were done, upwards of 60% of the audience left, leaving large empty holes in the seating at the FleetCenter. I'd imagine it's pretty hard to be enthused with that kind of response!
