arrrrrrrrgh!
Tuesday, February 4th, 2003 01:13 pmI'm rarely in the mood for serious primal screaming, but an hour or two ago, I was really there.
I was tempted to write it all down here, but that would take lots of time, and the problem right now is that I don't *have* lots of time, and therefore things I've promised to do are slipping in ways that are driving me batshit.
So right now I am going to take my lunch hour to walk over to the Cambridge Traffic & Parking Office to get a new visitor parking pass. This way, I will have achieved at least ONE thing today that is both overdue and important. And then I will go on to address additional such things this afternoon. Arrrrgh.
[Update, 3:35 pm: Thanks to everyone offering moral support. I'm better now. Got the parking pass; got a decent lunch; have accomplished some actual work stuff here (as that wasn't the part that was troubling me); have mostly made my peace with the volunteer project that got pulled from me (it was shul-related, of course). No one -- other than me -- was *mad* at me for taking too long; they really saw this as taking it off my too-full plate, and so should I. Now to tackle the freelance project corrections that are a week overdue. And then I can head off to my once-a-month shift at the food pantry this evening. Me, do too much? Naaah!]
