Pre-Arisia thoughts
Friday, January 21st, 2005 10:27 amFor good or ill, the thing about commuting to Arisia -- at least, such that I can only spend about half the usual time there and must come and go a couple of times a day -- is that it mostly obviates the concept of "packing for the con". (On the other hand, I'm also not sure if I want to schlep all my button wares around with me the entire time. But they went over so well at Worldcon, maybe I should.)
I went over last night to help with setup, but the bad news is, I never did find any of the people or places I was nominally supposed to be helping out. The good news is, I went to the tech meeting instead; the bad news is, I don't know how much tech help I can be, since I'm not going to be around so much. The good news is, I got home on the early side (12:30am).
And then I got to sleep in until 9:30 with no alarm, and now I am gleefully watching Arthur on PBS over a leisurely breakfast. And then I will go do laundry, and eventually I will figure out my afternoon schedule. Tra-la.
