Shul events in the coming week

Quick Tremont St. notes:

• Minyan tonight per usual, 6:30pm. I've missed the past couple weeks so I will be (a) happy to get back and (b) probably leading the davening. :-)
  
• '80s Dance Party tomorrow night! (That's the 1980s, you pedants.) 8pm-midnight. You're all invited if you'd like to come. Plus, the Jewish Advocate called me and they're sending a photographer to cover it! Ai yi yi.
  
• Our young adult group is also trying to organize a Livnot trip to Israel this summer from the shul (ages 20-40, singles and couples; either 10 or 14 days, likely in late July, we're still finalizing the details). Anyone who might be interested in going should please contact me. We're having a callout meeting for participants on Wednesday, March 2, 8-9:30pm.
  
• Purim (since tigerbright reminded me) is Thursday, March 24! Ma'ariv at 6:30pm with megillah reading (the Book of Esther, accompanied by noisy groggers &c.). Afterwards: hamantashen, fundraising Purim Raffle, and Purimshpiel downstairs beginning at around 8pm.

I wish I had the time to take a trip to Israel. It would be so awesome to go. It's where my mom was born, and I have family there, so I've always wanted to go.

Oh, yes it will. Assuming we get enough people together to make it happen. :-} We need a group of 30. I think we can do it, but I'm a little nervous at this point.

Actually, we're also having Hamantashen Baking at shul the Monday before Purim. I'll see what I can do!
