In other news, I am feeling a bit woozy. :-P And no, it's not from failing to eat lunch, 'cause I actually remembered to do so for a change. Perhaps it *is* from being awake since 4am... but that's, as Kipling would say, another story.

At one point I actually owned a piece of Llewellyn neo-pagan fluff. (the Celtic Magic one) If I still have it, it's well worth the shredding.

Well, then, you should clearly lend it to your favorite Discordian for the ritual purpose :-)

Yes, but that would involve locating it in my parents' attic--a shrine to Discordia in and of itself.

I don't have any Discordian literature myself (that I know of) but I do have a CD-ROM with lots of medieval grimoires (even Jewish ones), plus some Crowley. I am so not a Thelemite, but I do find A.C. fascinating and amusing to read.

They work too hard. I'm sticking with the SubGenius people.

It is my judgement, as an Erisian pope, that they may be taking things too seriously. Then again, maybe not.

A story of more typical Discordianism: A friend of mine became curious about who owned the domain discordia.info. He checked, and was surprised to find that in fact, he was the owner. I don't know if he still owns it. In any event, it's not being used for anything.

I take that list more as suggestions than commands, and found that I've already done a surprising number of them.

Discordianism is in no way incompatible with the Church of the SubGenius, and both sides recognize that. Both are funny and both are useful. You should not assume that since you know one, you should not explore the other.

Not sure if I ever told you that I added you. I think I might have been daunted by your user-info, where you state that you would need to recognize the person on . . . a train for them to be on your friends list.

Well, how about I tattoo a mutually understood symbol on my forehead, such that there will never be any confusion between us while passing one another on trains?

Hi! I didn't mean to be daunting; I do have a few exceptions to that principle. It's just that I use LJ largely for social/personal reasons, so I don't feel compelled to add people I don't actually know IRL. But I'm always happy to have new readers.

I've been happy to read. I've actually had you on my list for a few months . . . I'm not even sure how I initially stumbled across your journal.

In any case, the mutually understood symbol will be an 'L' I think.
