August already?
Thursday, August 1st, 2002 05:22 pmTonight is this year's first rehearsal for my High Holiday choir gig. So I'm off to catch the 441/442 bus from Haymahket out to Swampscott.
This being said, I can't help feeling that the summer is already, effectively, over. A friend invited me to go to the beach this Sunday and I realized that practically all the Sundays in August are already spoken for... so where did my beach time go?? Où sont les sables d'antan?

No way!

I bought it from her once when I heard her playing in Faneuil Hall, because I love the hammer dulcimer (plus I was walking by with Cantor Ken, the klezmer violinist, who can't pass a fellow busker without stopping to schmooze). How fun.
