Tiger Boy and family got home safely on Friday night, despite a 2-hour delay (of which I was duly notified, thank you, muchabstracted!), and we have been catching up appropriately since then. :-D

It is difficult to properly mourn the destruction of Jerusalem when you know that the next bed you sleep in will be there.

One more personal item of moment before I leave: I got cast in theatreatfirst's Merry Wives of Windsor -- as one of the fairies! (They figure in the climactic Falstaff-hoodwinking scene at the end.) "Hooray," says I, "I have lots of fairy-playing experience!" I'm sad not to be rounding out the trio of merry wives with Mistresses gilana and plumtreeblossom -- how much ass would THAT have kicked?!?! -- but I am psyched.

I seriously thought you were a shoe-in for one of the wives. In fact on my secret prediction sheet I had you as Mistress Page. But, I guess if everyone each casted it themselves, it would come out differently every time. I'm just glad you're in it. We get to do a show together!

I'm glad you're psyched--I think you're going to be a great fairy. You were one of the very tough decisions for me to make, but I'm really excited that we have such a robust cast and I hope a good time will be had by all.

I'm angling very hard to get to the Altman/FOCS show. Both of them put on great live shows, and I can't wait to see some of the hijinx they could get up to together. Should be up there with the Altman/DVN show.

Howdy -- you wouldn't recognize me on the T for knowing me, but I'm guessing there aren't many 5'10 asian women riding the T while knitting and listening to an iPod, so if you see one, that's probably me. I just moved to the area and am looking for local folk to read/get to know. Looks like we have a number of interests in common, so hope you don't mind me adding you!

And, congrats on the casting! and the new job! I, too, begin a new job soon (tomorrow, in fact)!

Hi there! Welcome to Boston -- if you're ever passing between Kendall and Central on the Red line, then there is a reasonable chance I'd see you. :-) I used to live in Waltham, and before that, northwest Indiana. Where's your new workplace?
