Tiger Boy has written the following three things* on the grocery list:
 lox
 apples
 floss

And therefore every time I walk past the refrigerator, I can't help but think of "Snow, Glass, Apples". ;-)

Speaking of which, I was reading interestedly about Neil Gaiman's New York appearances April 25-26. Trying to go to some of these would be a no-brainer** except that [livejournal.com profile] jessruth's semester doesn't end until May 4, so I was gonna wait until after that to road-trip to NYC. Anyone already have plans to attend any of these? Are there even still tickets available?

*I also need milk, now, but I hate to write it in and mess up the pattern.
**Although, I suppose, I could be gainfully externally employed again by then already. Hmm.

eric and [livejournal.com profile] pisicutsa and i have tickets to the thing on the 25th (sadly, eric and i are busy on the 26th) and it would be fun to roadtrip with you.
we're also going to be looking for crash space for the 25th (since [livejournal.com profile] pisicutsa can't provide that night), so if you have any clever ideas on that, that would also be useful :)

oooOOOoooh. :-) We should talk logistics, then.

One of the things on the 25th is ticketless, so you must mean the big one at 8pm. Presumably, if I buy the ticket(s), the crash space will come. :-)

Okay, I got a ticket for Wednesday also! (I *reeeally* would like to go to the Moth event too, but am going to wait until logistics get more solid, rather than buy two on spec and hope for someone to go with me. :-)

So my default plan would be to drive down Wed. and back Fri., but we can talk about it closer to then.

Rats! This full-time student thing is majorly interfering with my social life over the next 6 weeks! If you do make it into town, I have a block of free time on Thursday afternoon....

Between Joy's endless work (a Teacher's work is never done) and JD, we probably wouldn't be able to meet up with you... but it would be cool to see you in NYC. (I'm not planning on seing Neil Gaiman, reasons being the above and that I haven't read anything of his since Good Omens (which, to be fair, I loved))

Wait, so you're saying I should or should not try to find a half-hour in which to stop by? :-)

Oh, you should try... but don't be bummed (or offended) if it doesn't work out.
