A quick question for you: I also snagged masorti. The name is catchier than "Cons_Judaism" but I'm not sure anyone will know what Masorti is. Any thoughts on which name I should go with?
My understanding is that "masorti" tends to denote specifically the manifestation of the Conservative movement in Israel, and therefore my sense is that cons_judaism might be more accurate as well as more self-explanatory. Bueno? :-)
That's true. I suppose it's a reflection of my own enthusiasm for Masorti -- they have great learning resources and their responsa are closer in line with my own thinking. Hm, I sense a post coming on... But anyway, you're right about the name. Thanks!
