Yeah, okay. I'm not driving out to Concord. Maybe if it eases up this afternoon, I'll go for a while. (This would also mean I can take to the Post Office all the stuff that I need to mail.)

Meanwhile, I'm staying in my bathrobe and making buttons. :-)

In other news, I didn't get cast in theatreatfirst's Much Ado About Nothing, which is a bit disappointing, but does free me up to do other things. Visit family between now and April, for instance, but also -- maybe possibly think about doing Ruddigore with mitgsp starting in February. So I've got that on the CD player.

Which reminds me I need to come up with a good description of Gregorian vs Jewish dates. I have been asked multiple times if leiacat and I have the same Jewish birthday every year.

I can understand that. I mean, the question would never occur to me to ask (because I grok the calendar systems), but when I try to think through the explanation, *I* start to get confused. :-)

Anyway, happy pre-joint-birthdays! I count 16 Shvat as my Hebrew birthday. (It was the date of my conversion. My Jewish self turns 12 this year! Maybe NOW I should have that bat mitzvah? ;-)
