wheee!

So! After a triumphant four-day, five-show Pirates run, I flew to Sacramento on Monday (that's yesterday now... in the time zone I'm writing in) and I'm now at my mom's house in Lodi, CA. It's been a pleasantly quiet day, I got to sleep in and everything (and will again tomorrow). It'll stop being quiet pretty soon though, I suspect, as we're going to end up with 16 people for Thanksgiving dinner, almost half of whom are staying here at my mom's house, including my brother and sister-in-law and my 4-1/2-year-old niece (yay!!). They may drive up (from San Jose) Wednesday night, or may wait until Thursday morning.

I could probably write more about everything, but for now I'll just note that I had to backtrack through almost 100 friends entries to get caught up on LJ. Jeez, you guys, it's only been four (okay, five) days...!

And finally, inspired by some talk in the Pirates green room: I have now officially created mitgsp! I added all the LJ users I personally know to have been personally involved in MITG&SP. I left out spouses of same (hi, baronet). But anyone interested is welcome to join, and if I've left anyone out so far, it's just that you slipped my mind temporarily (or else I didn't realize you were on LJ!). Likewise, anyone I've added who does not care to belong to this LJ community, please accept my apologies and unsubscribe yourself forthwith
