Subject to some revision as Winter's Tale rehearsals get fleshed out later in the month.

Also, after some recent discussions, I want to gather people to watch our video of The Lion In Winter from 2004. [livejournal.com profile] ablock offered to host, unless someone else overrides him. :-) Based on the below, I propose Tues 2/10, Sun 2/15 (afternoon or evening), or Wed 2/18. Anyone? ETA: So far, Wed 2/18 seems to be winning (sorry, Iago), so I am pencilling it in. Confirmation/details to come via email, so please comment if interested.

SUN 2/1:
12:30-2pm [livejournal.com profile] zigguratlabs debrief/brunch
2:30-5pm Menschen rehearsal
6pm Super Bowl (small gathering back at [livejournal.com profile] ablock's featuring, among other treats, [livejournal.com profile] chanaleh's matzah ball soup. SOUP! Get it? I missed most of the game, but the soup came out pretty well...)

MON 2/2:
Groundhog Day (I've got a ton of work to do at home tonight, but I do have the video, maybe I should put it on in the background...)
7pm: J giving a talk for Grey Thumb :-D

Auditions for [livejournal.com profile] mitgsp's Iolanthe:
Tuesday, 2/3/2009, 7:00pm - 10:00pm, W20-491

Thursday, 2/5/2009, 7:00pm - 10:00pm, Twenty Chimneys (W20-306)
(No, I'm not auditioning. Performance dates are Friday, May 1 - Saturday, May 9, 2009, which conflicts with The Winter's Tale. I've sung chorus in Io twice before, and would have tried out for a lead if auditions had been before those for WT, but -- here we are.)

I could watch Lion in Winter on 2/18 (oddly, for a Wednesday); maybe 2/15 too, though I was kind of eyeing that date to host an event of my own. :)

I'd do that. I think any of those dates should be fine for me.

...I'm curious what the "recent discussions" were, too.

Weren't we talking about it after Harvey? Watching the video, that is, if not so much the play itself. And on Friday night at Intimate Apparel, due to the number of beds prominently featured in the set, [livejournal.com profile] desireearmfeldt and I were reminiscing about the Lion bed to J (it having been just slightly before his time, by 24 hours or so). :-)

We did mention it, yeah, but I don't recall anything sounding like an inspiration to watch it again, so I thought there must've been something else. Or perhaps I've forgotten part of the conversation.

Possibly it was just *me* who was inspired to want to re-watch it. :-) But, more fun with people (who were involved, especially), so I'm throwing the option open to the rest of y'all.

I'd be interested in watching the video, but 2/15 is the weekend of Boskone.

Boskone! How strangely off my radar. :-} Okay, we'll see. Popular demand could always incur a second screening at some point...

In theory, I'm hosting OPN on 2/18, so the other dates would be preferable.
