My favorite generic cereal is Crispy Hexagons.

But you might know them better by their rap name: C-Hex!

(Yes, yes, I know, they are actually a knockoff of Crispix. But I stand by my joke. Hee hee hee. Also, I came within a micrometer of stabbing myself in the left hand when I put away my dairy chef's knife this morning, which if it had actually been SHARP this would have been a considerably more tragic story, or at least harder to type. Or, perhaps I am just up too early.)


In non-breakfast-related news, you can now Become a Fan of both Honorable Menschen and Tremont St. Shul on Facebook! (not to mention also Maimonides School, for those few readers who might care about that) This is a different function from the Groups that each of them had already. How exactly this translates to an improvement in functionality, I don't know, but we'll see.

Also also, the Klezmatics are performing at the Somerville on Saturday night, March 13, alongside renowned African-American Jewish gospel singer Joshua Nelson. I am totally there. (Wonder if this is part of the Boston Jewish Music Festival March 6-14? In spirit at least, surely...)

I am pretty sure it's *reserved* seating. I do not yet have tickets; la_vie_en_rosie is planning to get discounted tickets through Harvard -- not sure how many she can actually get, but she and R are still collecting interested parties, as of this morning (that's how I heard about it). So I think that's the current plan, and will ask her to count you in too if you like. :-)

Oooo. My mom's birthday is March 2 and I've long since run out of birthday present ideas that won't contribute to the clutter in the Condo of Parental Units...she loves world music, so I bet tix to a Klezmatics/gospel show would float her boat. Thanks for the pointer!

Wow! I want to go to that concert! I got a few Klezmatics mp3s in college and so enjoyed their music!
