actual work-related post
Tuesday, June 29th, 2010 01:00 pmMy office needs some temp help for approximately a week, starting pronto (probably 7/6-7/9). Anyone here interested?
It's mostly database-type work -- entry and validation -- with possibly some other grunt work (like stuffing envelopes) later in the week if you whip through the other things. Tools include general Windows savvy, Word, Excel, Google Docs, and something we use called Senior Systems which I will personally be showing you how to use as needed. Sadly, though, it's gotta be done in-house for that reason.
We're in Brookline, right off the Brookline Hills T stop (Green line D), or you could carpool with me from Camberville (or possibly even with my officemate from Providence).
Spec is "market rate" so talk to me about what that means to you. Comments are screened! Help me out! Please include your contact email (or mail me at chanaleh@lj), and I will try to answer any more specific questions about what we need.
ETA: It occurred to me that we have another project on the list for which Hebrew reading would be a major asset, and is a skill of the first (and otherwise highly qualified) person who responded, so I think we might be all set. I will follow up with the rest of you. Thanks!
