Moving

I called to wish my mom a Happy Mother's Day, and had a nice chat (my stepfather is briefly home from post-knee-surgery rehab to spend the afternoon and have dinner with her).

I also finally told her that I'll be moving to NYC with justom in August, so now it's safe enough to post publicly here. :-}

This past week I was officially transitioned out of chairing the tremontstshul 20s&30s committee, and as of next Sunday's annual congregational meeting and elections, I won't be on the board anymore either. This is kind of blowing my mind. But in a good way.

Also, in work/moving news, they (by which I mean "I") have now posted my job vacancy, so if you have a skill set similar to mine, and are interested, let me know. Note: Besides print design and web skills, you do also have to be able to read Hebrew at a minimal level.

Off to Honorable Menschen rehearsal, in preparation for our concert (11am in Portsmouth, NH) next Sunday!

As you move to NYC, know that I will be gaining a spare bedroom which is available to you should you need a place to crash from time to time when you both visit. :)
