Speaking of "what it says on the tin", I put henna on my hair on Monday morning. (I've been meaning to for months, and I was home cooking and cleaning, so what the heck, I took an hour to do that as well.) It is... So Extremely Subtle that it is practically invisible to the naked eye. :-) But that's kind of how I prefer it.

Yes, that is generally what it means: things I want to remember are happening but I'm not necessarily going to be able to attend (at least on that specific date).
