Meanwhile, World (that's my ISP, for the uninitiated) has gone 404. The system is down, yo. I also had more local computer trouble this morning -- instead of the happy Mac bootup, I got a folder flashing an ominous question mark -- but Gina from IT came and cheerfully fixed it. Thank God. I'm now backing up all my docs to the server as I write (it's been a couple weeks). But the weekend update will have to wait.

You're always so nice to me :-) However, I have mail and Web access from work -- it's the usual mail directed at World that I miss getting! I'm experiencing a trickle of yesterday's mail now, and expect it'll go on for the rest of the day.
