Fall in Indiana
Wednesday, September 3rd, 2003 04:30 pmI rarely get homesick for Indiana, but occasionally there are things I miss (other than friends and family).
Never mind the Popcorn Festival, pride of my hometown, which is this coming weekend... I just turned up the fact that next weekend is the Feast of the Hunter's Moon at Fort Ouiatenon. Wish I could go. Hayley, will you go for me? :-)
(Properly speaking, I suspect it ought to be called the Feast of the Harvest Moon, but still...)

Date: Wednesday, September 3rd, 2003 06:28 pm (UTC)I adore Feast of the Hunter's Moon. We went there in the seventh grade for a field trip. Save for the D.C. trip in eigth grade, it was by far the best field trip I ever took. :-D
I'll think about going... I'm off that Saturday because the library closes for the Wizard of Oz festival [it's just not worth it to be open - there is no parking for the patrons or staff; uncivilized people wreak havoc in the rest rooms; and parents leave their children inside while they shop, expecting us to be free child care. Grrr.].
Hmm...
;-)
