Life continues to be good.

Sushi date [with tenore--Ed.] last night, wherein I learned that sitting at the bar is fun because you don't have the expanse of table separating you. :-) Followed by Movie Night Chez Pup, wherein we watched The Wizard of Speed and Time (full-length feature version).

Stayed up waaay too late. But was glad I did.

(Plus, it's okay because I'm taking a vacation day today anyway, to head up to Albacon. Wherein I expect to also have a fabulous time. But which I guess I'd better go get ready to do.)

Wizard!!!! I saw TWoSaT for the first time at the Coolidge's 24-hour sf movie marathon, many years ago, and it was preceded by a brief address by the man himself. In which he explained why he doesn't shake hands. (I admit, I also read alt.fan.mike-jittlov for a little while. Mostly to steal people's sigs for alt.fan.warlord.)

I bought a copy of it on DVD was they were offering it... love that movie. Though people look at me strangely when I make them sit through it. Hm. I mean, almost as strange as when I put them through Joe's Apartment. Some people!

ooooh Albacon. if i weren't so short on time and money this fall, i would've loved to have gone to that -- good guests this year. have fun. :)
