Home from Florida.
Had a pleasant time and lots of good talk with Dad.

However, the Death Cold blossomed halfway through the trip. (I suspect I brought it down with me, it was just incubating.) Bleah. At least yesterday morning's fever is gone. But I am living on tea for the foreseeable future, and skipping RotK tonight.

(But on the positive side, I have this really fascinating husky voice for a while...)

I have a friend who deliberately recorded her voicemail message while she had a cold. Her mother was very disturbed by this sultry voice which apparently belonged to her daughter... :)

Actually, all of the tourists bring viruses here from all over the world. It's a wonder any of us in St. Augustine stay healthy ;)

I've only got "Death Cold Lite", but lots of people i know have been laid low.

Husky voice? Mmmmm... *swoon*... some of my favorite blues music is sung exclusively by women with husky voices... :-)

Croaking? eep...I'm doing okay, it's mostly just at the bothersome level, which is good, because I have lots of overdue stuff for Arisia and we're short-staffed at work. Tea with honey is my friend... hey, maybe sometime soon I can avail myself of your 'l33t tea-making skills... :-)

So sorry your sick sweetie! That cold has been circulating something fierce (my mom has it). Taking a multi-vitamin every day for the rest of the season may not be a bad idea. I've never had much luck with Echinachea, but a lot of orange juice and vitamins always works. Also don't forget to get a new toothbrush...there's no point in re-infecting yourself for $3.00.
