Girls' Night Out!

highly enjoyable, if somewhat spendy, Girls' Night outing to Cuchi Cuchi last evening. Rah! [waves to melissaagray (see you at Arisia!), bryghtrose (ditto?), memerath, and teafox, plus Liane if she were reading.]

So now that I've been there: The place does indeed deliver pretty well on most of its apparent promises -- good-looking Eurotrash waitstaff, artsy cocktails, yummy tapas, amazing dessert... served up in decor so rococo it hurts your teeth. Pink Fringe Everywhere! But oh, it was fun.

And then I went home and pulled together a large bag of stuff for the MIT Clothing Drive (to benefit local shelters). Tomorrow -- the last day! -- half again as much, I hope.

Waving back, bouncing and smiling :) Cuchi, Cuchi was such girlie fun! There's nothing like sipping champagne in a yuppie atmosphere to make one feel cultured and chic, lol. The decoration work there is such a trip...victorian meets shabby chic, meets swanky gay bar. We must all go there again sometime! Can't wait to see you at Arisia too....the schedule looks great, though last minute,...should be a blast :)
