I went out at lunchtime and got stompy boots!
For $25! (Okay, they're from Parade of Shoes, so they're not the greatest boots in the world. But they came in size 11 and they were on double sale and my other black boots have sprung a leak. So.)

jessruth at Penny Lane, but in black (and in my size and price range ;-)
And as a side benefit, they also happen to make me 6'1". Consider yourselves warned >:-)
