Why I haven't posted a Worldcon report yet.
Thursday, September 9th, 2004 08:41 amLet's see.
Tuesday: Lunch with
xf (which was pleasant and included a brief docent tour of Toontown), dinner with
nacht_musik (after which he very sweetly accompanied me in trundling my laundry around), late-night chat with Tiger Boy.
Last night: bought food for a BBQ for 80 people (we have this down to a science), before and after shul board meeting.
Tonight: dentist appt. in the afternoon, throw said BBQ 5:30-8pm, then run to MIT to audition for Iolanthe.
Friday: shul, then Jesus Christ Superstar at MIT (the only performance of the entire 3-weekend run that I can actually even think of attending), THEN swing by my coworker's b'day party up in Medford somewhere.
Saturday: Six Flags with
ablock (since I begged off on the original date we were going to go, in August). Possibly Selichot afterwards if we get home by 10:30pm.
Sunday: brunch thing midmorning at shul (observing shloshim for Reb Moshe zt"l); High Holiday choir rehearsal in the evening in Swampscott, 7-10pm. In-between those, hopefully at least a quick meetup with
xiphias, but I have kinda promised to head up to Rockport and spend at least a little of the afternoon visiting a friend at his parents' place up there.
Welcome to my life. The mantra of "After Noreascon" has already been supplanted by "After the chagim," which will shortly be superseded by "After Iolanthe". :-)
But I will post a con rehash soon.
Meanwhile, time to hit the showers.
