I am as close as someone can be to someone who had to make such a choice recently. It can be absolutely brutal, to be honest. Nevertheless, none of the pain and anguish deny or negate the rightness of a right choice. Those are the right ones.

I'm just now getting back onto LJ, after a week, and seeing all this. And feeling like a jerk because I've been at rehearsals with you and haven't had a second to stop and talk with you. *hugs* and shoulder/ear as needed.
