Actually, taken in the context of the entire weekend, I'm not sure there was anything missing that I could honestly have asked for. Star in a play? Check! Go to shul Shabbat morning? Check. Have the Friday night service already covered so I don't have to feel guilty about being otherwise engaged? Check. Stay up very late with good friends? Check, check, check. Go out for margaritas, twice? Ethiopian? Mexican? Check, check, check. Have time to watch my two favorite TV shows? Check, check. Borrowablock's car to go shopping? Check. Extra day off work? Check. Brunch with fried eggs and yummy potatoes? Check. Cuddles? Massages? Crossword puzzles? Check, check, check. Stay in my pajamas all day? Check. Spend 16+ hours with the boy? Check. Two hours of singing practice? Check. Blow off laundry altogether? Check. Get to bed early? -- Probably. We'll see.
