Because it is my way, I couldn't resist iconifying some of the publicity pictures from the TMG Flickr set. (Well, this one of me isn't actually posted in that set -- [livejournal.com profile] lillibet sent it to me separately.)

Did you know that LJ's otherwise-rather-kludgy Scrapbook photo gallery function will automatically create handy HTML tables of image thumbnails for you if you choose "Post Selected Photos to Journal"? I didn't before, and now I do! (But I ended up hand-editing the table code to change the layout, because that is also my way.)

There are others I could do, but I need my fellow cast members to suggest particularly good taglines or catch phrases for their characters. :-) Some ideas:

Margaret:
DON'T PATRONIZE ME
WOMAN OF NIL REPUTE
CAN IT BE I AM A BORE?

Hawthorne:
THE DARK VISION
PROTECTED? THE POET?!
MUCH TOO IMPLAUSIBLE

Emerson:
I WAS JUST BEING POMPOUS
(Somehow Emerson has very few pithy lines. Anyone?)

Greeley:
KINGS, MY ASS
CAN'T EVEN TIE HIS OWN CRAVAT
I THINK YOU'RE ALL RAVING MAD

Nathan:
VERY POETICAL
THAT IS PROVOCATIVE
AM I INTRUDING?
YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THIS BORES ME

Mazzini:
VIVA L'ITALIA!
I WILL SHOW YOU MEN!

(I also know the logotype at the bottom left corners is getting kind of illegible at that scale -- hey, [livejournal.com profile] gilana, want to send me that art in some vector format?)

While I'm at it, I should note that we have a spiffy new 60-second video trailer created by the fabulous [livejournal.com profile] muffyjo!

Taglines for Mazzini...

"You don't understand what is happening..."
"I will show you men!"
"...demented creatures, gnawing on each others' bones."
"Pickpockets..."
"Think of the Revolution!"

And I thought of "Deficente! Testa clada!" or "Non sono cavoli tuoi!". :-)

I love the shot of you laughing, but can't figure out what goes well with it! (Other than "By Italian standards he's not much better than Greeley," but that's too wordy, if not too context-sensitive.)

Or just "He's not much better than Greeley."

You don't understand what is happening...
Might go with the laughing! And is more useable long term.

For Emerson, we could use "It lights up the soul."
Or "You told me it was almost finished."
Or "No."

In general, Emerson tends to be more verbose than pithy.

How about "You keep me honest"?

Long shots with Margaret:
What do you do with your legs?
What does a man look like?

For Emerson, "Lights up the soul!"
Definitely "The Dark Vision" for Hawthorne
